All apartments are located in our house in Aeschlen.
Aeschlen, a neat village
Aeschlen, nestled between two deep gorges, the Oertlischlucht to the west and the Gumischlucht to the east, the village lies on a natural south-facing terrace above Lake Thun. It is about 1 km to Sigriswil in the southeast and Tschingel ob Gunten in the east. Schwanden is 2.5 km to the northeast and Oberhofen am Thunersee on the lake shore is 2 km away.

Experience the perfect blend of mountain and lake in Aeschlen. Immerse yourself in the untouched nature of the nearby Justistal, and explore the hiking and recreational areas of Schwanden, Tschingel, Sigriswil, and Ringoldswil. Aeschlen is an ideal base for exploring the beauty of the Bernese Oberland, including the charming cities of Thun, Merligen, Interlaken. After your adventures, unwind and relax in the area's mild climate.
HIKING TRAILS
From here, you have access to a broad network of hiking trails that lead you on both short and long paths. You can follow parts of the Jakobsweg, discover the Planetenweg with the Blueme observation tower, or visit the Gummischlucht Aeschlen-Sigriswil. For a bit of excitement, walk across the Panoramabrücke Sigriswil and hover 180 meters above the ground. In nearby Justistal, the sound of deer roaring during the mating season in the fall is a fascinating experience that you may be able to observe with some luck. The young mountain cheese at the "Chästeilet" in Justistal tastes even better than elsewhere.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Aeschlen ob Gunten, our house is located next to the famous suspension bridge featured in the hit movie "Crash Landing on You". Surrounded by towering mountains and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Thun, this charming Swiss community is a haven for nature lovers. The suspension bridge has become a must-see destination for tourists from all over the world, particularly South Korea, since its appearance in the movie. Offering breathtaking views of the gorge and the stunning landscape, it's an experience not to be missed. Our house provides the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Berner Oberland. With comfortable accommodations and a convenient location, you'll be able to discover everything this enchanting area has to offer.
